Tikrit Operation on Pause
Iraq has halted its operation in Tikrit. They ask for more airstrikes, as lab results showed that the Islamic State militants have used chemical weapons, euronews reports.
According to the source there was no fighting on Monday as for the operation to succeed more airstrikes are needed. The operation in Tikrit and its success is seen as an opportunity to retake the northern city of Mosul.
