Bako Sahakyan: Free and Transparent Elections One of the Achievements of NKR

The President of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, Bako Sahakyan received observers from Israel, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Belgium, Estonia, Mexico, Germany, Russia, Zimbabwe, South Ossetia and Armenia who arrived in Artsakh to carry out observation mission during the parliamentary elections.

During the meetings series of questions were discussed, referring to the development of the democratic institutions in Artsakh and the civil society, as well as the regional processes, the press service of NKR president reports.

President Bako Sahakyan called the elections an important component for democracy, mentioning that holding free and transparent elections is one of the achievements of the country. He stressed that Artsakh is interested in deepening its relations with civilized world, in this case noting the importance of exchange of experience in different spheres.
