Kurds in Iraq Intend to Hold a Referendum of Independence

The President of the autonomous region of Iraqi Kurdistan, Massoud Barzani, said it is the time for holding a referendum on the establishment of a Kurdish state in Iraq. "Now it is the time and there are right conditions for people to make a decision with a referendum on their future," TASS quotes the statement of the press service of the Barzani.
"The rights of the Kurdish people should not be sacrificed to political interests," the President of Kurdistan said.
