24 People Killed During Baghdad Bombing

Iraqi officials said that at least 24 people were killed Sunday in the eastern Baghdad after two bombs exploded at a market in the Shi'ite district of Sadr City, BBC reports.
Islamic State (Isis) has claimed responsibility for the attacks. In an online statement the Sunni extremist group said it would continue to target Shi'ite Muslims.
Most recently, a truck bomb in August killed nearly 80 people at another market. Islamic State militants claimed responsibility for that attack.
