Thousands of "Alliance of Patriots of Georgia" supporters hit the streets of Tbilisi on Sunday, October 30, demanding  calling for the government's resignation, News Video reports.

A member of the Georgian parliament Ada Marshania said it was impossible to live "without any diplomatic relations, with these military posts in Abkhazia, with so many refugees, whose destiny is still unknown."

According to the Chairman of the "Alliance of Patriots of Georgia" David Tarkhan-Mouravi, one of the aims of this action is "to conduct a dialogue with Russia, with Sukhumi, Tskhinvali and Moscow."

To note, the Alliance of Patriots is considered to be the only Georgian party that openly supports the restoration of relations with Russia, and a dialogue with the Russian authorities. The demonstrators made a promise to continue protests.
