Constitutional Reforms in Armenia: Protests Continue
Tonight in Yerevan after a large-scale protest of the front "New Armenia" against the referendum, tents will be put in the Republican Square. In addition to "New Armenia", participation of other opposition movement "No to Constitutional Reforms" is also expected.
Meanwhile, the Armenian Police said that they will officially apply to the prosecutor's office to launch an investigation on the statements heard during the rally in Liberty Square in Yerevan. At the same time, the police called on citizens making these statements to cooperate with the competent authorities carrying out the investigation. This is said in a statement released today by Police.
It should be reminded that the referendum on Constitutional reforms is planned on December 6.
