The Bouches-du-Rhône Department also decided to participate in the provision of assistance to Artsakh by providing 50,000 euros in humanitarian aid through the Coordinating Council of Armenian Organizations in France.

Mayor of the French city of Bourg-lès-Valence Marlène Mourier announced that she is going to appeal the decision of the administrative court on cancelling the friendship declaration signed with Mayor of Shushi of Artsakh Artsvik Sargsyan in October 2014.

Foreign Minister Karen Mirzoyan also touched upon the process of international recognition of the NKR, the establishment and development of cooperation in various spheres. In this context, the NKR Foreign Minister stressed the importance of increasing the level of the involvement of the NKR in international processes as a pledge of stability in the region.

During the meeting, Karen Mirzoyan briefed on the main directions and priorities of the NKR foreign policy, as well as the peculiarities of the Foreign Ministry activities aimed at the solution of foreign policy issues.
The Committee recognizes that Nagorno Karabakh has a per capita landmine accident rate among the highest in the world, and that mine clearance programs have been effective where implemented.
In his welcoming speech, the Foreign Minister stressed the importance of the meeting in terms of raising awareness about Artsakh in Denmark, as well as presenting the existing realities in the NKR and the position of Artsakh on international and regional issues.
Thus as a resulted of awareness-raising of the international community on NKR some changes took place in their perceptions, which cannot but to positively affect the process of NKR international recognition.

In Artsakh they will participate in the events devoted to the day of foundation of NKR Defense Army, Shushi Liberation day, 71st anniversary of the Great Patriotic War.
In his speech, the NKR representative touched upon the developments caused by the large-scale Azerbaijani attacks against Artsakh in April and presented the position of the NKR regarding the settlement of the Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict.
